Nice quality piece. Would have been 5 star but the catch on the pin back is upside down & falls open. EZ to fix tho. Just remove the catch & flip it upside down & crimp it. Now it doesn't fall open

Beautiful heavy quality badge. It fills the entire USFS shirt center pocket flap when attached. Now I am afraid of scratching it...

As the last original member of the 20 year old Mt. Hood Wilderness Stewards (VOLUNTEER Rangers), in the face of slashed USFS recreation budgets & the difficulties with recruiting, retaining & rewarding dedicated volunteers, my purchasing & presenting a new volunteer badge to our hardest working participants is the least I can do to show appreciation for the sacrifice of their time & energy to "Preserve, Protect & Promote Wilderness By On-The-Trail Leave No Trace Education." I have been a Western Heritage customer since you began in the 70's, when I was a FS employee, buying the dress FS buckle (#781), then the Willamette NF & the Malheur NF buckles when I worked on those Forests.
