      Winema National Forest bronze buckle

      I was awarded this buckle by the Chiloquin District Ranger, back in 1990. Since then, the firest has merged with the Fremont. But when I lost this buckle overseas, I was able to order a replacement from Western Heritage and it, just like my first one, is a hefty, finely crafted work of art that has kept me connected to my fire crew and my archaeology crew: this buckle is an artifact up to the task of daily use, and wearing with pride.
